To ring in the WNBA’s 2024 Most Valuable Player award, Nike launched tee designs for A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.
With a noon briefing and a 5pm review, I whipped up three designs that capture A’ja’s competitive and sartorial excellence, while living safely within Nike’s brand guidelines.

Ultimately Nike chose a different way in, but I enjoyed a day of meshing typography, hand-drawn illustrations, iconography, and texture.
