To kick off Google’s first year of partnership with the National Women’s Soccer League, we developed an AI-powered fan hub — dubbed the Google Pixel Fan Clubhouse — supercharging fan hype and bringing to life an unforgettable experience at championship weekend in Kansas City, teasing it all with soccer legend Megan Rapinoe.

In leading our team’s collaborative pre-promo production with Easy Mondays, I wanted to bake visual intrigue into the structure of our teaser with Megan, paying off the Pixel 9’s Gemini Live tech while giving scrollers-by a piece of branded content worth watching.
Minimal, strategic and impactful set design played with the contrast of artificiality and authenticity as a humanizing wink from Google.
And most importantly...it just looked so very purty.
OTG at Championship Weekend
The star of the show was Google Pixel’s next gen AI assistant Gemini Live which served fans a series of assists: immersive photo ops, Gemini-generated team chants, a first-of-its-kind, Gemini-assisted stadium card stunt with KC-based artist Kai Johnson, suprise meet and greet between soccer idols Megan Rapinoe and Gisele Thompson with community empowerment group Girls on the Run, and of course some dope merch exclusives.
